Multi-Fold™ Technical Design Information

  • The patented Multi-Fold system is available in 12", 15", 21", 24", 27", 30", and 36" widths.
  • Multi-Fold belt width is defined by the dimension between the conveyor belt hinging areas.
  • Actual flat belt width is twice the designated Multi-Fold width (e.g. 24" M-F = 48" belting.)
  • PIW ratings currently up to 600 PIW across full flat width.
  • Multi-Fold Belting is available in a variety of cover compounds.
  • Sizing of the Multi-Fold is based on volumetric capacity of the cross section.


Refer to the chart below for proper selection of Multi-Fold. Minimum capacities are based on the minimum cross sectional area of the belt satisfactory for eliminating sliding of material on steep angle applications. Maximum capacities are based on the maximum cross sectional area allowing a comfortable overlap of the belt cover flaps.
